What is R
What is R? R is a open source programming language and environment for statistical computing which we called data science so far, data analysis, data mining and in a words Data Analytics. It is also a rich tool for graphical representation. R has a facility of a wide variety of statistical features e.g. linear and nonlinear modeling, classical statistical tests, time-series analysis, classification, clustering etc.
R is available as Free Software under the terms of the Free Software Foundation’s GNU General Public License in source code form. It compiles and runs on a wide variety of UNIX platforms and similar systems (including FreeBSD and Linux), Windows and MacOS.
